Stanley Farms
Stanley Farms is a family business owned and operated by R.T. and his sons, Brian, Tracy and Vince. Stanley Farms is a name synonymous with the Vidalia Sweet Onion and family farming in Vidalia, Georgia.
R.T. began farming as a sharecropper in 1964. After farming his own land for a few years, he grew his first (5) five acres of sweet onions in 1975. Since then, Stanley Farms has increased its acreage a little each year and now grows over 1000 acres of onions as well as numerous acres of other crops and vegetables.
Vidalia Valley
After becoming firmly entrenched in the Vidalia and other sweet onion business, Stanley Farms has become vertically integrated by establishing its own processing company, Vidalia Valley (formerly known as Manning Farms). At the Valley we make our own relishes, dressings, salsas and sauces as well as other processed foods and ingredients.
We are proud to use our home-grown Vidalia Onions as the key ingredient in these family recipes. In fact, Vidalia Valley is the only processor in the country that grows our own Vidalia Onions just to make great gourmet and country style products. The company also has a hand in producing Vidalia Onion Rings, frozen onions and fresh cut produce.
